Skills we need to work well in a team
Hi everyone! Today, we're at the Millennium Kids for a leadership training program and to find out more about the enviroment and how we can help to save it. The view of the Swan River is simply stunning but we spotted some trash in the river which we think might endanger the health of the birds and fishes that depend on the river for a living. What we found really strange was that there was no trash at the playground whereas the river is extremely polluted.
While we were exploring the area, there were many families there to enjoy the view and for a picnic. Adults were walking along the river while the kids were enjoying themselves at the playground, as shown in the picture below:

We feel that taking care of the enviroment is everyone's responsibility as we all live together on the same planet. The view and enviroment is for everyone to enjoy and we all need to work together. We believe that with conbined efforts we can all make the world a better place for all of us to live in.

The stunning Swan River... that is being polluted and needs all our efforts to save...

Littered Beaches
Today we went to the Swan River at Heathcote Point, and we explored the beaches. We found a lot of litter along the beach. We feel this is very harmful to the environment.
The beach has great scenery apart from the litter we found. We feel that people should not litter. Instead they should appreciate the scenery. People need to practice the "Three R's" - Reuse, Reduce, Recycle!
Maybe there should be more recycling bins near the beaches and park. They need to be easily accessible to everyone.
We need to keep the river clean for the children to play safely and their parents to enjoy their time.
